Real Madrid are yet to confirm a date to formally announce Kylian Mbappe’s arrival.

Los Blancos are fully focused on their UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.

Mbappe remains under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until June 30 and the clubs would have to agree a deal to reveal him in Madrid at the start of June.

Both Real Madrid and Mbappe want to get the formalities over with before Euro 2024 starts on June 14.

As it stands, Real Madrid will need to agree an early release with PSG, and they could need a favour from the French Federation to release Mbappe.

As per the latest reports from Marca, Mbappe will join up with the France squad on June 3, ahead of two pre-tournament friendlies.

Real Madrid need to agree a date within France’s schedule to avoid the saga dragging into the tournament.

There is also the issue of ensuring a free spot at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu with a concert booked at the stadium on June 8.
